model rail show reports

After the turn of the year we as a group have attended the AMRSS show in Glasgow with our “oo” layout called Clement Gardens which being its first outing presented a few teething problems which our members overcame and managed to put on a good show that the public appeared to appreciate.

The next outing was to the Pentland show in Edinburgh where the new layout to us called Dragonby which is our “n” gauge layout which again after the operators got to grip with how to operate this complex multi track layout it performed very well over the weekend in a quite tight area for layout and operators alike.

We then took our layout called St. Thomas to Glenrothes  this is our “oo” rendition of Thomas in which we allow the children of all ages to operate which was appreciated by all who operated it although attendance at show appeared to be down on previous years
