Ayr model railway show

Well now that our annual show is over i would like to thank all the participants for there support with the show also we got a very good response from the public. All layouts performed really well with a wide variety of themes from “O” gauge modern image, triang trains, 3 rail “OO” and N gauge to name a few. The layout that won best in show was the “OO” layout called Inches from the Greenock club but it was a close run thing winning by one vote from the Perth club called Almond Bridge. A special mention must go to young Luca for his layout Dumbarton T M D and also to Trevor with his depiction of a first world war medical camp.

I would also like to thank the women (Helen, Linda, Ruby  Angie),along with Mark for looking after the cash desk

the ladies from the R.N.L.I. for providing teas cake and some hot food throughout the weekend and finally to Martin Walker for the transport of layouts to the show
