Greenock and Scotgog
After a very busy weekend when the club attended two shows one at Greenock with Griffin road and the other at falkirk with the “O” gauge test track
Greenock
Ayr M.R.G. members enjoyed a very friendly and well attended show at Greenock last weekend. Our compliments to the Greenock club and their organisers as well as the ladies who provided food and drinks to keep us all sustained through the weekend. Our layout Griffen road operated faultlessly and it was well received by the audience although we can appreciate why Greenocks layout Kirkconnel was the visitors favourite. Now we are looking forward to the Falkirk show where Griffen road will be on show again and the onto Paisley where will have “O” gauge layout Bridgend on show for the first time.
Scotgog The test track was attending the new venue for the “O” gauge event in Falkirk where we had quite a number of loco,s from guild members testing their engines these included diesels steam loco,s and some from pregrouping times .the show was well attended and we think everyone was glad that we are now getting back to some normality and looking forward to next years events.
