A.M.R.S.S. show

Now that the A.m.r.s.s. show has come and gone we feel that our layout Bridgend performed reasonably well with the exception of our turntable where the drive system failed us on the Saturday afternoon.the operators on the whole considering it was its first show attended managed to keep the layout running whilst training on the the job. we are sourcing a new drive system for the turntable and should have it in place for Perth.I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our club members for the work carried out ever the long weekend manning the cash desks and the layout and also Martin Walker for providing the man and van for the transport.

After some remedial work to the layout it should operate well for the model rail show being held at Perth on the 24th and 25th June before that we are taking our “O” gauge test track to Pollockshaws on 10th and 11th June
