Griffen Road Dock

this is a 3 platform station and additional local repair facility with storage facilities including fuel oil and a number of storage businesses to handle port traffic.

the layout can be set in any period from the 70’s up to modern day and can even handle an eclectic mix akin to a heritage railway.The fiddle yard has 6 roads that enable plenty of variety through the single road to the station and sidings. The track is all code 75 Peco and the layout is DCC using the Lenz system.

Griffen road will be attending the Kyle model rail show in the Walker halls in Troon 13th – 14th May

this is a rationalised double main line through station with ex freight avoiding line down to one line in sections. There is is a big warehouse facility which still relies on good transport links. There is plenty of scope for operations utilising the 12 road fiddle yard with the middle 4 being bi-directional

The layout is set from the late 70,s to the early 2000,s the layout when complete will be 25 ft. x 9 ft.
